Stephen Bulger Gallery is proud to host our annual exhibition of work judged Best of Show for a Third Year student at Toronto Metropolitan University's end of year exhibition.
(embodied) is an intimate portraiture series that unapologetically takes up space. Taken from the perspective of a plus-size individual photographing fellow plus-size individuals, (embodied) delves into themes of beauty, identity, and perception. Comprised of a series of vulnerable sessions, the artist aims to explore what it means to be represented, the power of photography in affirming one in their body, and each individual's connection to the body and selfhood.
