PURCHASING PHOTOGRAPHS

The gallery is pleased to assist individuals, corporations, and institutions in the purchase of photographs, whether individually or in collections. We enjoy working with individuals new to collecting, as well as with established collectors.  We can conduct searches for examples of specific photographs, work by specific photographers, or by genre, type, and style.

The gallery maintains an inventory of approximately 30,000 photographs in primary and secondary market material. In addition to publishing catalogues of work by represented artists, we also offer over 3,000 books about photography for sale.

Educational services:

We welcome groups to the gallery's exhibitions, and with advance notice we can provide oral presentations about current shows as well as our general activities. We ask that individual groups not exceed 15-20 persons at a time.

 

Stephen Bulger also regularly accepts offers to speak on various topics surrounding the history of making and collecting photography.
